We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Logistics department for a Warehouse Manager at our Devens, MA location.

A hands on’ processing position focused on startup and support of daily activities in molding operations including line clearance and related paperwork.

Certain shifts will be assigned specific duties to support planning or other company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Perform all production startups after mold changes
• Perform mold, robot and machine setups if and when needed.
• Understand and support material handling as required
• Support and train for any necessary paperwork including process summary sheets
• Regular Attendance and professionalism.

Other duties as assigned.

• Assist with mold work orders to insure repairs are properly addressed
• Perform and maintain all ISO procedures and train personnel accordingly.
• Maintain DMRs to insure all instructions are accurate and up to date. Work direct with Doc Control for updates
• Interact with Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance and Engineering to solve day-to-day manufacturing issues.
• Perform daily checks on molds, machines, robots and all other related equipment.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
• Implement and support Lean practices (5-S, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, SMED, Etc.)
• A & B Shift technicians will attend planning meetings and coordinate with materials, mold set and other areas to insure effective execution of daily schedule
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications include :

• High School / Trade School Diploma
• Enrolled in Plastics Technology degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mold Technician
• Strong team player, self-motivated.
• Excellent problem skills with attention to detail.
• Computer proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Requirements :

• Medium work : Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Ability to work for extended periods sitting and looking at computer while completing repetitive motions to include substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers.
• Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; reviewing detailed information;

viewing a computer terminal; and expansive reading.

• The ability to manage a number of projects at one time with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
• Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Talking, and Hearing.
• Repetitive Motions : Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers.
• The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment and to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
• The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, hazards and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation.
