Our Clinic Medical Assistant II will be responsible for assisting the clinic staff in front office and back-office settings.

They will also assist with Mohs surgeries. They are to provide safe, knowledgeable, professional care to all patients under the direction of provider and / or nurse and within their scope of practice.

Schedule :

Monday through Friday

What You'll do :

• Room patients and assist provider as needed.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures, always keeping room neat and clean
• Daily, weekly, and monthly exam room cleaning, inventorying, and equipment checks.
• Assist with scanning paperwork and uploading pictures into the EMR, scribing for provider.
• Record new patients’ medical history, medications, allergies, and pertinent information in the EMR
• Reinforce doctor's’ instructions regarding procedures and results
• Respond to patient and non-patient inquiries as necessary under provider direction
• Assist in scheduling appointments and patient check out

Skills and Experience :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MA working for a dermatology office is required
• MOHS experience required
• Certified as a Medical Assistant required
