Job Title: Buiness Analyst-Human Capital Management SME Lead
Type of Job: Contract (Full-Time)
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm (Mon-Fri)
Pay: $55.00-$59.00/hour
Location: Houston, TX 77002
This position is for a Benefits SME/Lead specific to PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) platform v9.2 Base Benefits and Benefits Administration modules. The project is for completion of Open Enrollment Mandates for plan year 2025. The Company will have new benefit plans (Dental/Vision/Medicare Advantage Plans etc.) that would be made available to employees and retirees to make elections during the Open Enrollment period (Oct/Nov ’2024) for the plan year 2025.
Job Duties
Conduct thorough business process analysis, requirement gathering, document the decisions and configure the requirements
Work with benefits functional analyst(s) and ensure the configuration is setup accurately in test environments
Work closely with the company's benefits business users and benefits vendors to ensure all interfaces, reports, queries and configuration changes are documented, tested and deployed within the project timeline
Creatively configure the system utilizing the delivered Benefits administration ERP capabilities
Provides functional expertise and contributes to improvements and enhancements for an enterprise-wide installation
Manages multiple timelines for projects depending on varying deadlines
Must be able to track and address project scope and updates to project deadlines and works through issue resolutions
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Must have knowledge working with the 834 EDI file.
Must have lead level experience implementing, supporting and/or upgrading PeopleSoft v9.0 or above, preferably v9.2
Experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong verbal and written skills
Ability to create functional and design documents
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be a self-starter and ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
Experience
Over 10 years of experience implementing/supporting PeopleSoft version 9.0 or above.
Over 10 years of experience implementing/supporting PeopleSoft Base Benefits and Benefits Administration.
