Position Overview
The Customer Support Specialist is the first point of contact for new applicants and is responsible for ensuring that our initial interactions meet the highest customer service standards. The role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries across a variety of contact channels and laying the foundation for a working relationship with our company. A primary focus of the Customer Support Specialist is to educate customers on the various benefits of obtaining funding through SmartBiz. Additionally, the Customer Support Specialist provides direct application support and is integral in reporting any recurring issues and customer feedback to our Operations and Product teams. Furthermore, the Customer Support Specialist is part of the first line of defense against fraud or suspicious activity. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
