The Opportunity:

As a CAD Designer within our client's team, your expertise will be instrumental in advancing high-profile construction projects. You will report directly to the Civil/Structural Engineering Manager, playing a pivotal role in the design and drafting phases of their projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive designs and models using CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Advanced Steel, Inventor, Navisworks).
• Create and revise detailed models/drawings, including assembly and detail drawings, focusing on accuracy in dimensions, materials, and component relationships.
• Participate in the design process from initial concepts to the computation of metrics and the creation of detailed designs.
• Employ a deep understanding of engineering principles, mathematics, and material science in drafting.
• Continuously improve and maintain drafting and engineering standards, ensuring top-quality designs.
• Efficiently manage and organize files for easy access and revision of production models/drawings.
• Assist in converting existing production drawings to modern platforms such as Revit, Civil 3D, or Inventor.
• Liaise with departments like tooling, QA, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure clear communication and project alignment.

What You Bring to the Table:

• An Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical qualification, backed by at least six months of relevant experience or training.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen focus on conceptual and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Advanced Steel. Knowledge of Navisworks is a plus.
