Job Summary:

We are looking for a technical skilled, experienced IT Network Infrastructure Project Manager with an IT background working for a BioTech/BioScience client or company and demonstrates history of successfully planning, managing, commissioning and completing complex IT infrastructure projects. As the primary accountable person for the project, you will lead and manage IT infrastructure commissioning project, preparing the plan, managing the resources at Onsite and implement the infrastructure as per design.

Job Description:

• Manage the overall IT network infrastructure commissioning project for a BioScience manufacturing and research facility at Pennington, NJ
• Understand the infrastructure project goals, objectives and priorities and execute them as per the plan, design, budget and schedule
• Manage project charter and detailed project plan for the IT network infrastructure project using standard project planning tools (MPP or Smartsheet etc.)
• Track and manger issues, dependencies, constraints and risk & mitigation plan associated with the project
• Manage assigned project team members, including resources from client, vendors, partners, to ensure the project delivered on quality, schedule and budget
• Identify, resolve, and/or escalate critical project risks and issues with appropriate level of governance chain in the client organization.
• Understand technical documentation associated with the IT network infrastructure i.e., Network Architecture design, Infrastructure configuration & integration, application architecture within the network, and security policy
• Co-ordinate product/components ordering with various vendors/partners associated with the IT technical infrastructure components
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly status meetings and prepare status reports for management consumption
• Maintain dashboard of activities and status for the overall health of the project
• Communicate regularly with upstream and downstream resources involved in the infrastructure commissioning process

Skillset/Experience Required:

• 10 years of experience in IT network Infrastructure field and 5 years of experience in managing large scale IT network infrastructure commissioning projects
• Experience in manufacturing and R&D facility infrastructure management for a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biosciences client will be an added benefit
• Have 5 years of IT infrastructure project management experience
• Strong technical understanding of network infrastructure architecture, design and components including firewalls, routers, switches, mapping etc.
• Have successfully managed and implemented a variety of IT infrastructure projects (e.g., network architecture design/build, manufacturing facility, laboratory environment, conference room build etc.)
• Ability to create and manage timelines using a planning tool (e.g., MPP or Smartsheet)
• Must be willing to be onsite at Pennington, NJ whenever needed to monitor, oversee and perform site governance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address issues quickly
