• We take training seriously. Our Floaters do not have to have experience working in a childcare center. They are caregivers at heart and are trained on our licensing rules and routines by our administrators and Lead Teachers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Pay is based on Experience in the field and Education

• Floaters-Must have a minimum of a high school diploma & a copy of diploma or transcripts
• Lead teachers must have minimum of CDA, AA or BA in early childhood education
• Must pass a background check upon hire
• Provide shot records and receive a work physical upon hire

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide attentive care and supervision to infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Assist the lead teacher with Implementation of age-appropriate activities to promote early childhood development.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for infants.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of all children.
• Utilize classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Support the lead teacher in implementing educational programs for infants.
• Demonstrate patience and understanding when addressing the needs of young children.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the welfare of all infants in care.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
• Continuously engage in professional development to enhance skills in childcare and early childhood education.

Small Wonders Discovery and Learning Center is seeking the BEST child care workers in the Columbiana and Mahoning counties to join our 5 STAR TEAM!! We have 7 childcare centers (Canfield inside the MCCTC, Canfield off of 46, Columbiana, Leetonia, Salem, West Branch and Youngstown)
