Part-Time Custodian (6 hours a week)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time custodian to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our space. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly in the dumpster.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and classrooms.
• Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events, if needed.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects, if needed.

Cleaning supplies are provided on location. Work closely with the Supervisor to restock supplies as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
