The Sleep Medicine Institute of Texas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Nurse Practitioner with expertise in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to join our team in Tyler, TX. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for building an emerging cliental base for Hormone Replacement Therapy .

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, making recommendations for lifestyle changes, and referring patients for further evaluation as necessary.
  • Providing patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices, nutrition options, and weight management.
  • Administering HRT to patients with low hormone levels, as well as monitoring their hormone levels and adjusting the dosage as needed.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and sleep technologists, to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, including progress notes, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Participating in quality improvement activities, such as peer review and quality assurance programs.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Texas state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally recognized certification board, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the

American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

  • Experience or an interest in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
  • Preferred Certification Through Evexias for Evexipel Hormone Pellet Therapy
  • Experience administering HRT to patients with low hormone levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret diagnostic test results and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain complete and accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
