Sleep Inn & Suites Port Clinton Ohio is looking for a Breakfast Attendant to join our team.

This position is responsible for the preparation, serving, and presentation of food and beverages to guests. The member should be knowledgeable of food safety and sanitation standards as well as the operation of the restaurant’s kitchen. The ideal candidate will be able to share the tasks and responsibilities with other kitchen staff members.

The position requires you to be flexible, willing to learn, and friendly.

Duties Include:
Prepare all food items following recipe specifications and standard serving sizes according to company standards.

• Follow proper food safety practices at all times.
• Deliver food items or service items from kitchen area according to company procedures when instructed by manager or supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area including taking out trash, restocking supplies, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces in the kitchen and restocking equipment when needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety rules, dress code, food service code guidelines, cleaning practices and appropriate handling of materials that could cause damage or injury.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Experience:

• Food preparation experience including: Measuring, weighing, chopping, trimming, and peeling; Using knives and cutting tools (servant level 1)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (servant level 1)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
