If you are passionate about driving innovation within the semiconductor industry and have a history of technical and customer service excellence, particularly with legacy node technologies and in the A&D sector, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:Act as the chief technical interface for customers, guiding them through the technical and operational phases from the concept stage to project commencement utilizing our platform technologies.Utilize technical expertise to illustrate SkyWater's technologies, resolve customer challenges, and push opportunities towards successful business deals.Cultivate strong relationships with customer stakeholders, establishing SkyWater as a trusted partner for innovative solutions.Work in concert with sales, engineering, and business units to ensure customer needs are met with SkyWater’s offerings.Lead the formulation of project proposals and statements of work (SOWs), aligning them with customer objectives and SkyWater’s business strategies.Analyze customer feedback to pinpoint technical gaps, suggest improvements to SkyWater's solutions, and enhance our competitive edge based on technical strengths.Acquire expert knowledge of SkyWater's technologies and platforms to assist in new customer acquisition and bolster sales efforts.Collect and interpret voice of the customer (VOC) insights from target markets to guide strategic decisions and product innovations.Represent SkyWater at industry conferences to forge connections and gain insights into evolving customer requirements.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering.Minimum of 8 years in field applications, design, or process development/integration within the semiconductor industry preferably in foundries.Required experience in Analog, Mixed Signal, ASIC design, ideally with 90nm and 130nm CMOS nodes technologies, demonstrating a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities these older technologies present.Preference for candidates with experience in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry, showcasing a capacity to meet the stringent requirements and challenges unique to this sector.Working knowledge/experience with Cadence Tool set for PDKs, layout, DRCs.Analog & Mixed Signal IC design experience (in addition to reference to ASIC design).Experience working with 3rd party partners: Tool vendors, Design Partners, IP providerA strong semiconductor processing background will enable a candidate to leverage SkyWater’s unique Technology as a Service (Taas) model to generate unique process and design solutions for our customers.U.S. Person Required: SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc. subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
