Description
The Quality & Operations Manager works with various internal departments, as well as external customers and vendors to
ensure smooth, profitable, quality compliant execution of orders.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Production Management
• Management and oversight of the production process by ensuring efficient and successful movement of open
orders throughout the entire process.
• Manage staff which provide support to the sales team in production, logistics and inventory management
functions.
• Act as liaison between all departments including sales, production, accounting, warehousing, & inventory
management during open orders process. Manage the transition and flow of materials & information between
departments.
• Follow best practices and protocols to achieve efficient execution across all production roles.
• Manage the production process with live, real-time updates.
• Assist in oversight of processing purchase orders, repair orders and payment requests to the accounting
department.
• Ensure warranties, returns and customer order issues are tracked and actioned appropriately.
Operational QA
• Oversee and work with the production and sales department to ensure Quality standards are being met,
and paperwork and processes are in accordance with the current quality system in place.
• Maintain data integrity and compliance for current and future software and file systems.
• Review and approve the quality documentation for parts purchased to support SASI open orders.
Quality System Management
• Oversee all elements of Skytower Aviation Services Inc. Quality Management System in accordance with ASA-100
/ FAA-0056 accreditation standards.
• Prepare for and manage ASA-100 audits, audit schedules, and action items/corrective actions resulting from ASA-
100 audits and their associated self-audits.
• Identify, create and implement quality process improvements. Develop quality training standards, assist in the
creation and maintenance of training materials.
• Foster an environment in which quality, safety, and compliance is everyone's concern.
Inventory Management
• Develop and manage the inventory control processes and procedures.
• Oversee the execution of periodic inventory audits.
• Manage Staff responsible for maintaining inventory, warehouses and facilities.
• Manage and directly oversee the management of stock data across all software and file system
