Overall Objective:

Tune skis and boards for customers, our used gear for sales, along with maintaining our rental and demo fleet.

Major Duties:

Tune and mount all skis and boards to Ski Gear’s standards.

Train and educate employees in our processes, including tuners as well as online and retail team.

Perform scheduled machine maintenance to ensure machines are always operational.

Track inventory of supplies to ensure we are never out of needed tuning supplies.

Make schedule for folks on tuning team.

Assist with sales as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Prior ski tuning experience required.

Mechanical aptitude.

Knowledge of ski tuning process.

Attention to detail is a must.

Good communication skills to coordinate with team and customers.

Work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Reliability is required.

Most shifts would be during normal business hours, but weekends and evenings would be required, especially during our peak season from Thanksgiving to the end of the Christmas break. Flexible summertime hours. This is a year-round full-time position with benefits.
