Skyline Solar is Hiring a Market Manager Position Near Robbinsville, NJ

New Jersey Market Manager

Job Description: Skyline Solar has been in business for 14 years and continues to grow its presence within the Northeastern United States. A family owned company that prioritizes customer obsession and quality craftsmanship we are looking to expand our internal operations team. At Skyline our Market Managers are responsible for the success and growth of our individual geographic markets. You’ll be the face of Skyline as you work directly with our Sales Partners and Field Operations to ensure each customer is delighted with their Solar Installation. Delegation, time management and excellent people skills will come in handy as you work across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pipeline of Solar projects from project acceptance through to PTO (permission to operate).
  • Oversee a team of permit specialists, interconnection coordinators and processing agents including conducting regular one:ones, team meetings and performance reviews. These will be done with support from the Director of Sales Operations.
  • Collaborate cross functionally inside the company to ensure the successful movement of projects through the various stages of the Skyline process.
  • Engage with Sales Partners to provide key updates as their book of business progresses and expands with Skyline. This includes conducting Pipeline calls, supporting reps with inquiries and supporting partners with changes in product offerings.
  • Utilize analytical skills in reporting, spreadsheets and dashboards to make data driven decisions to identify opportunities in markets. Provide these insights to the leadership team on a monthly basis.

You will know you are a good fit if you have experience doing:

  • Experience in Solar is a plus but is not required
  • Experience in managing projects across a complicated process including changes in scope of work, requirements from utility companies and cities/townships, etc.
  • Must be comfortable engaging with solar customers, sales partners and financial companies.
  • Comfortable using Cloud based software such as Salesforce, Google suite, Microsoft word, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
