Description

 SkyHop Technologies is actively seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience in manual and automated testing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is experienced in testing APIs, web-based software, and mobile applications (iOS and Android). Knowledge of test automation, including scripting own automated tests, and familiarity with Selenium or Cypress, is highly advantageous. 

Key Responsibilities: 

-Conduct thorough manual testing of our software applications across web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android), ensuring a seamless user experience. 

-Implement and manage automated tests, leveraging your scripting skills to enhance our testing capabilities and coverage. 

-Utilize Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools for test automation, improving our overall QA process efficiency. 

-Perform meticulous API testing, ensuring high performance, reliability, and interoperability of our software solutions. 

-Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and ensure that high-quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle. 

-Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or errors encountered, and communicate effectively with the relevant teams for resolutions. 

-Review and analyze system specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies and test plans. 

-Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies, and improve existing processes and techniques. 

Qualifications: 

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

-Minimum of three years of experience in a QA engineering role, with a focus on manual and automated testing. 

-Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or Cypress is a significant plus. 

-Experience in scripting and writing automated tests is highly desirable. 

-Proven experience with API testing and web-based software testing. 

-Familiarity with mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms. 

-Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 

-Ability to document and troubleshoot errors in detail. 

-Excellent communication skills, with an ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner. 

-Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude, with a keen eye for detail.
