Role: ChromeOS Hardware Operations Driver

Responsibilities:

• Deliveries:
• The Driver makes deliveries and pick-ups from a number of Google offices split between the San Jose and Mountain View locations.
• They will also need to update the management tools i.e., Hardware Request Tracker and Buganizer per delivery to ensure assets are properly tracked
• The specifications of where to the delivered and when to be delivered will be notified to the Driver through On Job training.
• Detailed hands-on will be provided to the Driver
• Pick-up and delivery bins can be very heavy, so the Driver will need to be physically able to move bins upwards of 50 lbs alone.
• Lifting assistance at the delivery locations is rarely available.

• ‘ChromeStop’ Coverage as a Hardware Support Technician:
• The Driver is also responsible for covering the lunch break of TM2 ChromeStop. During this hour, the Driver has to operate the ChromeStop location all alone.
• The driver should have minimal system knowledge to handle this [The distribution should be 70% Driver & 30% Hardware Support Technician]

• Van Maintenance:
• The Driver will need to fill the van’s gas at regular intervals.
• The van should be taken to maintenance regularly
• The Driver should keep track of mileage and service schedules
