SKY Restoration DKI is Hiring a Mitigation Manager - White House, TN Near Smiths Grove, KY
To manage the oversight and administration of the project cycle for all cleaning and mitigation projects. Provides direction and coordination of all field activities. Plans and manages the projects from job estimates, converting estimates into bids and bids into successful job completion. To facilitate all field change orders and materials. Prepares contract documents, project estimates, supply lists and works closely with the Team Coordinator and Accounting department to ensure proper billing on projects. Receives direction from the Operations Manager.
This is an AT WILL position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCITONS OF THE POSITION
Uses industry software to estimate and manage residential and commercial water, fire, wind, and mold restoration projects
Supervises, monitors, and revises all activities associated with the mitigation projects and its successful completion by bringing the project in or below budget
Screens and pre-qualifies all incoming potential jobs
Reviews, proofs, and finalizes each job scope of work with adjusters and clients
Assigns the Lead Mitigation Technician to each job
Reviews completed files for profitability and accuracy of the original scope of work
Participates in personnel selection, development, coaching and accountability for all mitigation employees
Recruits, establishes rapport and contracts with specialized subcontractors, as necessary
Makes initial contracts and provides quick and accurate responses to customers and clients
Works with the Team Coordinator and Accounting Department to collect on debts for all projects, as needed
Applies all safety rules and regulations to work efforts and prevents work hazards
Respects and maintains the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information
Other duties as assigned
ABILITIES
Work on-call and in all emergency situations, as needed
Time management, teamwork, multi-tasking, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Company
Manage crises as they occur
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; must be proficient in reading and writing the
English language
Apply general mathematical and data entry skills
Apply established Company policies and procedures, including safety procedures and principles
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/EDUCATION GUIDELINES
Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Five years Management industry experience
Possession of valid state driver’s license
Applicability industrial certifications preferred
Basic principles and practices of organization and administration
Modern office practices and technology, Appropriate phone skills and resolution of customer complaints and issues
Industry software
Professional ethics restoration industry language, practices, and terminology; ability to seek out knowledge if new to the industry
Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations that govern the areas of the position
OSHA safety regulations as they pertain to the restoration industry; maintain an active role in monitoring the safety of yourself and other team members
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Mobility to work in standard office setting and use standard office equipment
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and to visit various customers and meeting sites
Accurate vision to read printed materials and a computer screen
Ability to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone
Finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, writing implements, office equipment and calculator
Ability to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of time
Ability to travel up and down ladders
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects, from 50-100 pounds, necessary to preform job functions
Ability to work in high and/or tight spaces
Capable of working in fire, smoke and/or water damaged environments that have potential for mold and mildew
WORKING CONDITIONS
Employee may be in all types of weather conditions and office environment
Conflict resolution as needed with staff and customers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year based on experience Commission structure
