We are a medical spa focusing on beauty more than skin deep with our anti-aging and wellness treatments including body contouring and sexual wellness solutions, located in Chesterfield, MO. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accurately prepare financial statements
• Organize and update financial records
• Reconcile balance sheets
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• Maintain and update accounting files and records
• Analyze budgets and create expense reports
• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger, e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses
• Reconcile bank statements and any discrepencies
• Analyze transactions for review with internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct month-end and year-end close
• Prepare and file tax returns
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and generate revenue
• Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
• Payroll and benefits

Qualifications:

• 3 years of accounting experience is highly preferred.
• BA/BS in Business or Accounting and CPA are preferred
• Familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong mathematical, problem solving and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
