Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support in a medical setting.

Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
- Handle duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and prior authorizations
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical supplies and equipment
- Assist with medical procedures such as in office surgeries
- Provide patients with instructions for diagnostic tests and procedures

Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques
- Experience in medical administrative support tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a compassionate manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with coding procedures and electronic health records systems

Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience working in dermatology office
- surgery experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.51 - $22.29 per hour
