The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Engineering Manager to lead our app development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of our mobile applications across various platforms. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality mobile applications that meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities

·Lead and manage a team of Flutter developers

·Take ownership of managing bugs, documentation, and knowledge base

·Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality mobile applications within budget

·Monitor app performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement

·Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile app development

·Provide technical guidance and support to the development team

·Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members

·Manage app development projects, including resource allocation and scheduling

·Ensure compliance with app store guidelines and industry standards

·Contribute to the improvement of engineering standards, deployment infrastructure, performance, testing, and code quality

·Individual contributions in our Flutter/Dart repository

Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relative experience

·Proven experience managing mobile app development projects

·Ownership mindset, with attentiveness to documentation and scope refinement.

·Strong leadership and team management skills

·Proficiency in mobile app development and cross-platform frameworks like Flutter

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·Experience with Agile development methodologies

·Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

·Contributed to at least one production-grade mobile app

·Experience configuring pipelines for distributing and managing mobile beta builds

·Familiar with building accessible mobile apps

·Strong experience with Flutter is preferred
