- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure production goals are met by monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
- Train and mentor production team members to ensure quality standards are upheld
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that may arise
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with materials handling team to ensure availability of necessary materials
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
