```Duties:```
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Manage accounts receivable by invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts
- Assist with governmental accounting tasks, such as preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Participate in budgeting activities by providing financial data and analysis
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and account balances
- Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Support payroll processing by verifying timesheets, calculating wages, and distributing paychecks
- Provide technical accounting expertise to resolve complex accounting issues
- Process accounts payable by reviewing invoices, obtaining approvals, and issuing payments
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or trends in financial data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheets for data entry and analysis
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and regulations
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting techniques
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial transactions
- Understanding of tax laws and regulations related to business operations
- Experience with payroll processing and knowledge of wage calculation methods
- Technical accounting skills to handle complex transactions and resolve accounting issues
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment processing
- Analytical skills to perform account analysis and identify trends or discrepancies
