Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all nursing activities within our facility. Your leadership and expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including resident rights, HIPAA, and other applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practices and technologies
Experience:
Must be an RN graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
BSN is preferred but not required.
Must have current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
