Essential Functions:

• Assist the surgeon at the sterile field using the procedure in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist patient and surgeon with procedure/surgery preparation.
• Provide requested instrumentation.
• Assist RN with preparation of patient prior to the procedure in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.
• Prepare operating room for procedure to ensure patient safety.
• Ensure all required equipment and instrumentation is available in the room.
• Ensures additional supplies are available as needed. Set up the room based on procedure type.
• Perform post procedure duties in accordance with established guidelines.
• Assist with room turnover, instrumentation and equipment post procedure processing.

Salary:

• $32.35/hr - $46.96/hr DOE

Qualifications:

• Current Washington State Surgical Technologist registration required.
• Current AHA (American Heart Association) Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or US military Operating Room training preferred.
