What you will do:

As our Engineering Support Specialist, you will help the Operations, Development, Sourcing, and Product Management Teams by maintaining and controlling documentation and updating related information in the company’s MRP system. You will support the team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded for our products that help control and monitor one of the world’s most valuable and limited resources– Water! This position works in our Detroit Lakes, MN location.

The job:

Every day, your primary role will be updating and sharing import and export documents and inputting information into IFS. You will be responsible for ECO management. You will maintain configuration control of products in the system and create and control supporting documents (schematics, drawings, etc.), literature, and labels.

The skills you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be able to work with various disciplines and teams. You should have an aptitude for technical writing and improving product and/or process documentation. Experience working with spreadsheets, MRP systems, CAD, and Publishing is preferred. You must possess time management skills and be able to work independently as well as with a team. A 2-year degree with an emphasis in Technical Writing or Documentation and 5 years of experience is preferred.
