Sistine Facial Plastic Surgery is Hiring a Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa Receptionist / Concierge Near Pittsburgh, PA

At Sistine Plastic Surgery, we are looking for an energetic, driven, and ambitious person interested in plastic and aesthetic medicine to join our team as a front desk receptionist. This is a great opportunity for a front desk receptionist who is looking to work in a fast-paced plastic surgery practice with a friendly and supportive work team. We are seeking a candidate looking for a long-term and full-time career in plastic and aesthetic medicine, who is willing to travel to seven regional locations and the ability to work weekends. Previous receptionist or administrative experience in a plastic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, medical spa, or medical office is preferred but not required. Our ideal candidate is someone who is patient-centered, a team player, and interested in growing in the cosmetic medicine field.

We are looking for someone who is interested in growing professionally with our practice and our team as we are planning significant expansion over the next few years.

Pay: Hourly, competitive, depends on experience

Employment Type: Full-time, 5 working days (with ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays); ability to travel to seven regional locations

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Be punctual for shifts and maintain a consistent attendance record

· Properly open and close the offices each day, including setting up satellite offices and treatment rooms according to policy

· Greeting and registering patients with a personable, professional, and friendly demeanor

· Answer the phone promptly and in a professional and welcoming manner

· Answer e-mails promptly or direct them to the appropriate staff member

· Educating and communicating with patient regarding plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures

· Provide patients and guests (in-office and on the phone) with a detailed description of services, packages, availability, hours of operation, and locations

· Provide excellent patient services through all stages of care, including inquiry, scheduling, and follow-up

· Performing daily office administrative functions—including answering phones, ordering supplies, scheduling, and general office tasks

· Entering patient information in the electronic medical record, verifying the accuracy of all related patient paperwork, and handling payments

· Accurately book, change, and cancel appointments according to protocol

· Ensure that check-in, check-out, and payment processes are handled according to company policy

· Enthusiastically promote services, products, and memberships—this may include promotions or discounts available

· Handle patients’ questions and concerns with promptness, professionalism, and confidence

· Maintain patient satisfaction by providing immediate response to any patient questions or concerns

· Maintain patient confidentiality according to company policy

· Maintain a clean, well-organized, and appropriately stocked work environment

· Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment

· Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment and team

· Opportunity to become and take on responsibilities as a patient care coordinator, which involves performing thorough surgical consultations alongside Dr. Leong

· Assist in all areas of the practice operation as requested

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelors’ or Associates’ Degree preferred, or comparable work experience

· Experience in providing customer service and/or administrative duties in an office or medical setting preferred

· Ability to travel to seven regional office locations

· Ability to work weekends—including Saturdays and occasional Sundays

· Willingness to learn about plastic surgical and aesthetic procedures and services

· Interest in the plastic and aesthetic field preferred

· Excellent punctuality and attendance

· Dependable, consistent, and positive work habits

· Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills

· Great time-management and prioritization skills

· Detail orientation and problem solving skills

· Experience or willingness to learn various computer skills—including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Electronic Medical Record software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
