Exempt/Non-Exempt Status: This position shall be non-exempt from overtime as defined under the Department of Labor’s 2004 revised Fair Labor Standards Act.

Basic Function: Assists in all aspects of Monastery Goods & Services, making the products, selling the products, and shipping the products.

Knowledge requirements: Experience with a point of sale system is a plus, but we will train the right person. Basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and simple mathematical calculations like percentages, ratios, etc. Ability to communicate verbally and understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Job may require limited training or knowledge in operating a cash register and industrial baking equipment.

Education and experience: A high school diploma or GED.

Physical demands: Light physical effort required involving stooping and bending; individual has limited discretion about walking, standing, and occasional lifting of objects, up to 50 lbs.
