Position: Dietary Aide and Personal Care Assistant

Job Purpose:
Under the guidance of the Administrator, you will perform a variety of dietary and personal care duties, including meal preparation and assisting Sisters with their personal care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking: Prepare delicious and nutritious meals as needed.
  • Resource Management: Effectively utilize all dietary supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and rotation procedures are followed.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a safe and sanitary food service operation, adhering to all guidelines and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Assist Sisters and guests in the dining room, ensuring their needs are met with care and compassion.
  • Flexibility: Work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays as assigned, with occasional opportunities for additional shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service or personal care assistance preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to upholding the values and mission of Sisters of Mercy.
  • Willingness to embrace a flexible schedule and occasionally work additional shifts.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
