Sisters of Charity Health System is Hiring an Activities Assistant Near Richfield, OH
Regina Health Center is a CMS FIVE STAR rated mission-based skilled nursing facility located on 230 beautiful acres in Richfield, Ohio. We are currently seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to work a flexible 40 hours per week schedule of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm or 10:30 am - 7:00 pm. Must be available to rotate weekends and holidays.
The activities assistants reports directly to the Director of Activities and supports activities programs for skilled nursing, dementia and assisted living residents. All services provided are done in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Regina Health Center and current federal, state, and local standards governing long-term care and assisted living facilities.
The Activities Assistant will assist in conducting individual and group activities by performing the following responsibilities: Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and be able to provide meaningful engagement to our Residents! Must be a team player who puts the needs of the Residents first. Good problem solver, kind, compassionate and empathetic. Computer proficient, ideally with Point Click Care system for documentation, able to confidently lead groups with the flexibility to change direction, if something isn't working. Creativity is a must!
Education Requirements: HS Diploma or GED, Activities Assistant certification and/or Certified Dementia Practitioner certification preferred!
