3 | Key Responsibilities: Your role will push you to build skill sets in 3 areas:

• 1) Industry Knowledge/Memory: Your skills in this area will be the life of this Caribbean experience.

• You will not only make and serve drinks, but also turn new guests into recurring ones by curating a personalized experience (i.e., remembering different guests and their drink preferences).

• You’ll be in charge of restocking bar supplies and handling cash-receipts through which you’ll learn to organically memorize ingredients and prices.

• Your role is more of an art than science, so you’ll have flexibility to formulate new drinks based on your knowledge.

• 2) Sales/Communication: Like we mentioned before, building a relationship with the guests is key.

• You’ll learn how to connect with different types of individuals on a deeper level and personalize their Caribbean experiences by recommending drink choices depending on their day.

• You’ll have the executive power of denying drinks to guests for their safety: to prevent minors (checking IDs), intoxicated guests, or loud individuals from further drinking.

• You’ll communicate with the servers to maintain the fluidity of our work environment to ensure a smooth day.

• 3) Organization: With such a high level of responsibility, bartenders will become efficient in organization.

• You’ll learn to maintain a neat work environment by constantly cleaning tools (like all cutting and mixing tools) and maintaining an easy-to-follow cocktail-preparing system.

• You’re also in charge of making to-go orders, maintaining payments through POS systems, and serving menu items to our guests.

4 | Compensation/Perks:

• Among many other perks, we offer a starting, competitive salary of $20/hr with earnings potential being near $30/hr.
