How you’ll make an impact:

We have a terrific position available for an innovative, inspired problem solver to develop high quality software for iOS devices. As a member of our iOS engineering team, you will have the opportunity to bring new experiences to millions of listeners across Pandora, SiriusXM, and Stitcher across the Apple ecosystem. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned iOS engineer to deepen their experience with the latest technologies for the Apple ecosystem.

What you’ll do:

You will get the chance to take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. We hold ourselves to high standards and take pride in our work. You will work in a modern iOS development environment, using recent technologies like SwiftUI, async/await, Combine, Codable, and SPM.

What you’ll need:

• 8 years of native iOS development
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Swift
• Expert knowledge of developing, testing, and debugging mobile applications using Swift and Objective-C
• Experience with SwiftUI, async/await, Combine, Codable, and SPM
• Familiarity with emerging iOS development trends and design patterns
• Strong skills with object-oriented and reactive design
• Strong understanding of engineering software processes, lifecycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing.
• Experience providing streaming media direct to consumers
• Experience optimizing network service stacks for increased performance (reduced load times, battery drain, etc.), for all connection levels
• Strong knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming techniques on Apple platforms
• Strong ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks and deliver code that meets performance budgets and goals
• Strong comprehension of high availability, multi-tier, mission critical and fault-tolerant system design
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor other engineers
• Ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under shifting deadlines
• Dedication to thorough testing and creating high quality software
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
