Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of medical instruments and equipment to maintain patient safety.
Duties:
- Clean, sterilize, assemble, and package medical supplies and instruments
- Operate sterilizers, aerators, and other equipment following proper procedures
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities
- Adhere to infection control protocols and standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies
Experience:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Previous experience in sterile processing is a plus
