Job Summary: 
This is a new business development position, otherwise known as outside sales. A locally owned and nationally recognized Printing, Signage, and Marketing Services company is looking for an experienced New Business Account Executive that will be responsible for acquiring and supporting the marketing, print & sign needs of business-to-business clients. If you are still interested, make sure to read this entire listing.
Some of the activities of the position include qualifying leads, sales appointments, proposal presentations, and follow-up. The ability to use technology including computers, the internet, social media, and email is integral to the role. You will be required to make phone calls to people you do not know, you must be willing to call and call and call again. Seriously if you are not willing to follow up you should not apply.

The Important Stuff You Must Have:
  • You must be nice to the people who are our clients and those that you work with 
  • Be a good communicator - in person, on the phone and able to compose an email that does not look like a 3rd grader wrote it
  • A basic understanding of modern technology including the ability to use the internet
  • Like to work and work while at work 
  • Be a multi-tasking ninja, we do a lot in a short amount of time, this is no place for the proactively challenged
  • Basic math is a must, but yes you can use a calculator
  • Must be willing to jump in and figure things out on your own, no hand-holding here
  • You must be a life-long learner to work here. Lots to learn and it is always changing
  • Willingness to pick up the phone and call someone, then call again and then make another call, seriously you must talk on the phone to people and initiate conversations
Big Pluses If You Have:
  • Sold stuff B2B or at least know what B2B is
  • Any kind of graphic design or past print experience
  • A background in the sign industry
  • Understanding of direct mail and the data that drives it
  • Software experience with the Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Utilized a CRM system
