Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections and injuries. Prescribing medications and other treatments. Managing patients' overall care.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
 Master’s Degree - Nurse Practitioner

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience in an inpatient hospital-based practice.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective leadership and organization skills.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current State of Illinois Nursing License.
Current Advanced Practice License.
