Simplified Technologies LLC is Hiring a Sales Representative Near Fort Myers, FL

Description

The sales representative is responsible for selling corporate products and\or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The sales representative will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers or prospects and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct a minimum of 10 sales presentations or demonstrations per week by physical visits to customer locations.
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold-calling if necessary.
  • Ensure follow-up by managing leads with calls-to- action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
  • Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
  • Use marketing data using applicable sales management software (CRM) tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook to manage customer interactions and office communications. Manage leads, prospects, pipeline in Connectwise.
  • Maintain accurate records; including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
  • Assist in creating RFI, RFP responses to potential clients.
  • Periodically coordinate with in-office staff to conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts.
  • Make front-line assessment of market conditions and advise company Account Managers and marketing staff of findings.
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research.
  • Engage vendor, supplier representatives to provide coop funds, marketing reimbursement to achieve market penetration goals.
  • Maintain two business group memberships, the fees for which will be covered by Simplified Technologies LLC.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Business Administration or a related field of study
  • 2 or more years of experience in outside/external sales
  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals Essentials certification to be completed within two months of hire if not already held.
  • Connectwise Expert User, CompTIA Cloud Essentials certification to be completed within 6 months of hire if not already held.
  • Must possess a valid FL driver’s license and vehicle.
  • Strong problem identification, troubleshooting and problem resolutions skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Must display sophisticated writing and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and take on new responsibilities

Working conditions

  • This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Job requires travel form location to location

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects.
