We are working with a local Austin company that is hiring candidates who have graduated with a Computer Science or related technical Bachelor's Degree from a top school globally. 

This role is On-site M-F in Northwest Austin, TX. We are looking for someone local or willing to relocate (We will reimburse for relocation expenses and also will sponsor VIsas.)

Responsibilities:

• Explore all the latest technologies, attend most of the available technology conferences, and report/train the rest of the team with your understanding of industry trends 
• Test new platforms to gain an understanding of what each new platform is and why they are designed in the way they are.
• Seamlessly collaborate with the Product Team to enhance our current product offerings with new technology ideas.
• Lead the current team with infrastructure/cloud (e.g. AWS) knowledge 

Requirements: 

• 7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering 
• Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science from UT Austin or another top 25 University in the US (or top 50 school worldwide)
• Proficient in Cloud Technologies (AWS), Spark, and Data Engineering 
• Eager to stay ahead of the latest industry trends and can travel frequently to technology conferences. 
• Collaborative communicator with product managers, and mentor to junior engineers
