Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents
- Unload, inspect, and put away stock in designated areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and update records
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and RF scanners to move and manage stock
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with AS400 or other inventory management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and order processing is beneficial
Skills:
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory
- Experience with order picking and packing processes in a distribution center environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse layout
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
