Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our team. The Property Management Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the property management team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in the property management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with customer relationship management by addressing tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly
- Assist with facilities management, including coordinating maintenance requests, scheduling repairs, and conducting property inspections
- Support property leasing efforts by conducting property tours, screening potential tenants, and assisting with lease agreements
- Upsell additional services and amenities to tenants to maximize revenue opportunities
- Assist with negotiating lease terms and renewals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and organized files, records, and documentation related to property management activities
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop and implement strategies for improving tenant satisfaction and retention
- Utilize property management software (e.g., OneSite) to track tenant information, payments, and maintenance requests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or property management is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Knowledge of property leasing processes and procedures
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to property management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficiency in using property management software (e.g., OneSite) is a plus
- Sales skills to effectively upsell additional services and amenities to tenants
