Assistant Property Manager

Position Description:

Thirdstone Properties is seeking a new team member that is passionate about real estate investing and providing high-quality services to its residents. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the team to handle the day-to-day operations. We are a young and fast-growing entrepreneurial company that has expanded quickly due to the passion of its founders for delivering top-tier service to its clients and residents. We are looking for a team member that wants to grow with us. The Assistant Property Manager must have strong interpersonal skills and has a desire to provide exceptional customer service in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistant Property Manager directly supports the Property Manager and works closely with the overall team
  • On a day-to-day basis, the Assistant Property Manager will use their customer service skills to kindly assist current and prospective residents when they call or come into the office
  • Manage the self-showing system’s inbox to answer prospective tenant’s questions and help them view our active rental homes
  • Follow up with prospective residents who viewed any of our active rental homes to collect feedback and increase incoming applications
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinator when residents call with maintenance questions or emergencies to ensure the issues are being handled in a timely manner
  • Assist the team on any scheduling needs between us and tenants for occasions such as inspections, appraisals, or other owner needs
  • Prepare lease renewal offers that are sent to tenants when their leases are up for renewal
  • Prepare rental property listings in our property management system for review by property manager
  • Process renter’s insurance confirmations and enter into property management system
  • Assist with gathering AC filter sizes from tenants
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed once full training on initials tasks are completed
  • Occasionally on-call during after-hours or weekends

Qualifications and Background:

  • Interest in real estate investing / real estate market
  • Exceptional communication skills are required to work with people in person and on the phone
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service with strong attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness
  • Thrives while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency for resident emergency requests
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Cheerful and helpful attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate
  • Ability to commute to our Riverside office Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm
  • College degree preferred (minimum 2 years); High School diploma required
  • Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish highly preferred (written and verbal)

Thirdstone Properties was founded by a husband-and-wife team that started off as out-of-state investors. They relocated to Jacksonville in 2020 to create Thirdstone Properties and partnered with the agent that helped them acquire their properties while they were living out-of-state. Together with their team they have quickly grown the company to 450 properties under management and expanded management from northeast Florida to central and south Florida. with plans to continuously grow the property management division and expand to other markets.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
