Introduction:

BizFirst is assisting our client, a leading provider ofinnovative data platforms for government and defense clients, in recruiting afull-time Full Stack Developer. These platforms utilize state-of-the-arttechnologies to enhance mission-critical initiatives through advanced dataanalytics and machine learning.

What You Will Do:

As a Full Stack Developer, you will develop robust softwaresolutions that facilitate efficient access, analysis, and visualization oflarge datasets. Your expertise in Python coding, data access layertechnologies, and cloud services will be essential in creating a seamless andintegrated data experience for our users.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications thathandle data access, processing, and analytics.
• Utilize strong Python coding abilities to buildefficient and scalable solutions.
• Implement and integrate data access layertechnologies such as Databricks, iQuery, Global Search, API, and FileBrowser.
• Apply knowledge of automation tools tostreamline data-related processes.
• Utilize Scala, Databricks, Python, Trifacta,DataRobot, and R to implement data processing and analysis tasks.
• Leverage proficiency with AWS services,including Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon RedShift, Amazon ElasticSearch Service,Delta Lake, Neo4j, and Parquet for data storage, processing, andretrieval.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and DataAnalysts to understand data requirements and design efficient dataworkflows.
• Develop user-friendly, visually appealing toolsand interfaces that enable both technical and non-technical users to interactwith data effectively.
• Ensure the security and integrity of datathrough the implementation of appropriate access controls and encryptionmechanisms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gatherrequirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-qualitysolutions.
• Maintain documentation for softwareapplications, workflows, and processes.

Requirements:

• Secret clearance required (Interim is ok);TS/SCI clearance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full StackDeveloper, with demonstrated experience creating data-related softwareapplications from scratch.
• Proficient with essential front-end technologieslike HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency in Python coding.
• Proficiency with automation tools like UiPath orAutomation Anywhere.
• Experience with cloud services, particularlyAWS, including Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon RedShift, Amazon ElasticSearchService, Delta Lake, Neo4j, and/or Parquet.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience querying data through various methodsto enable fast analytics.
• Demonstrated experience developing tools andinterfaces that facilitate user interaction with data.
• Demonstrated experience working with largedatasets and leveraging big data technologies to process and analyze dataefficiently.
• Knowledgeable of third-party libraries likejQuery, Angular, and React.js.
• Knowledgeable of data access layer technologiessuch as Databricks, iQuery, SQL/MySQL, Global Search, API, and FileBrowser.
• Knowledgeable of technologies such as Scala,Databricks, Python, Trifacta, DataRobot, Kafka, StreamSets, and/or Rprogramming language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability towork in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaborationskills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment todelivering high-quality results.
• Must be in the DC Metro area and available towork onsite 2-3 days per week.

Nice to Have:

• Recent DoD or IC-related experience.
