Silvergate San Marcos Retirement Community is Hiring a Caregiver PM Shift (3:00 PM-11:00 PM) Near San Marcos, CA

Silvergate San Marcos the area's premier senior living community is a local, privately owned and operated retirement living and healthcare company, operated by the Petree family that has been in business for more than 30 years in San Diego County.

We know that great care starts with great people! Our Caregivers and Med Techs play a key role as part of an award-winning team of professionals.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

-Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, transferring, escorts to meals and activities, etc.)

-Be given all the training necessary to do your job including 1st Aid & CPR Certification.

-Be given the on-going monthly training necessary to continue your job duties.

-Be offered all company benefits (medical, dental, 401K, sick, vacation and holiday pay).

-Come to work at the same location every day. You will be caring for residents in a facility and not bouncing around from home to home.

Med Tech Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and record patient medical histories
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
- Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care and dressing changes
- Provide support and care for patients in hospice or long-term care settings
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:
- Certification or degree in Medical Technology or a related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
