Silverado Placement Services is Hiring a Technical Sales Representative Near Central, CA

Join a highly successful team in the wine industry!

This position is responsible for building and maintaining positive and productive customer relationships in order to make sales of products and services, primarily in the California Central Valley (Lodi to Bakersfield)

  • Work closely with leadership to establish, build, maintain and develop existing account relationships within the assigned territories
  • Services existing accounts, processes orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
  • Observes and communicates to customers, staff, managers and visitors’ relevant information such as; customer activities, winery improvement projects, new brand development, staff changes, and product use trends
  • Enters and maintains all data mining and intel gathering in the CRM program on a daily basis
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by, e.g., attends educational workshops; reviews professional publications, etc.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Demonstrates commitment, excellence, high standards, and organization’s core values.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA degree (desired but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of the wine industry and key accounts a plus
  • Product knowledge of wine and/or the winemaking process a plus (as well as juice)
  • Proven track record of multimillion-dollar account management
  • Must maintain at all times a current and valid driver's license and automobile insurance meeting ATP's minimum standard requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
