WhatYou'll Do

The Data & Donor Relations Manager is responsible for maintainingthe donor database system and is the first line of interaction for donors whendonation issues occur. Managing confidential materials and information will beimperative to this role.

The person who fills this role will be energized by detail-orientedwork, managing and implementing systems for data collection and reporting, andworking on a team focused on contributed revenue growth. Attention to detail,multi-tasking, adaptability, commitment to quality, and problem-solving areessential while working with the development team to ensure that data integrityis prioritized to create a positive impression on donors in a timely andefficient manner. This role requires direct contact with Board members anddonors.

Donor Database Management

  • Overseesthe integrity of donor data in the donor database.
  • Workswith other members of the development team to identify and produce relevantreports that inform their goals and the department’s strategy.
  • Producerelevant reports that will assist members of the development team inaccomplishing their goals.
  • Workas a member of the development team to understand the overall goals and offerdata-based ideas, solutions, and strategy.
  • Responsiblefor data structure and strategic categorization of gifts by source and purpose.
  • Collaborateswith team members to create and maintain an organizational integration of dataprocesses in every arena.
  • Managesthe processing of incoming contributions and implements timely giftacknowledgements.
  • Workswith CFO and/or the Staff Accountant to compile weekly deposits and records ofsupport, reconcile development records with accounting records monthly, andassemble development needs for annual audit.
  • Overseespledge process including tracking and sending donor pledge reminders andend-of-year pledge collections.
  • Managesexternal data imports.
  • Preparesand oversees year-end tax receipts.
  • Identifiesand resolves database issues or develops alternative solutions by working withCRM support and stays current with updates to the system.
  • Generatesreports from the donor database including monthly financial statements for theDevelopment Committee that effectively track key metrics, regular donor reportsincluding renewals and recognition lists, and customized mailing lists.
  • Aidsin event logistics to support our communications, gifts, lists, andcollections.
  • Responsiblefor on-going stewardship including reports, honorariums, and memorials.
  • Providesassistance to CRM functions including managing portfolio functions, automation,and integrated programs.
  • Assistwith the creation of automated workflows within the CRM.

DonorRelations Management

  • Servesas primary contact for contribution related research.
  • Responsiblefor fielding or answering constituent inquiries.
  • Prioritizesa positive donor relations experience by responding promptly, pleasantly, andthoroughly to constituent needs.
  • Documentsdonor interactions and follow-up needed in database.
  • Participatesin on-going quality improvement (QI) activities within the roles defined above.
  • Performsother duties as assigned by the Director of Development.

Who We AreLooking For

Education andExperience

Bachelor’sDegree or minimum of 4 years of experience in an office setting required.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about Christian ministry to the underserved and infull agreement with Siloam’s mission and core values
  • Willingness to serve persons with limited access to healthcareand who are from different cultures and faith beliefs
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office productsespecially Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with office equipment and the desire to master newsoftware will be essential
  • Competent in customer service skills and a strong written andoral communicator
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize given assignments each day
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Adherence to OSHA and confidentiality requirements
