We are currently hiring a Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant Account Manager (Condo/HOA) to join our growing team in Altamonte Springs, FL!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist Account Manager with binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, simple audits, and other related items.
• Prepare spreadsheets as needed.
• Promptly process incoming mail, email, faxes, and phone requests.
• Request cancellations/intent to cancel and reinstatements from carrier according to agency policies.
• Document all activities, phone calls, emails, and correspondence in Applied EPIC agency management system.
• Order loss runs.
• Print/copy/scan as needed.
• Daily follow-up on un-routed attachments, open activities, and other tasks.
• Other tasks, as needed, to support the Account Manager.
• Serve as back-up for other Assistant Account Managers when necessary.

Personal and Organizational:

• Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities. Answer phone calls/messages and emails promptly.
• Maintains a cordial and professional relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, Producer(s) and other business contacts with a strong service focus.
• Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
• Interacts with others by utilizing effective communication skills.
• Performs thorough and accurate work, attention to detail.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

• High school graduate.
• Minimum of 0-1 year(s) agency or other relevant insurance experience.
• Active Florida Property and Casualty license 2-20 or 4-40.
• Knowledge of insurance products and their application to business.
• Desire to learn and grow personally and within the team.
