Job Description

Primary Objective: We are currently seeking experienced seamstresses to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewing and garment construction, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment. The seamstress will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to assemble various components of our products, ensuring that all finished items meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch together fabric products according to provided specifications.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, including proper stitching, alignment, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Package and assemble products for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Basic operations of machines for cutting, sewing, and packaging products
• Accurate documentation of order status
• Follow the steps in completing the finishing of the product and preparing for packaging.
• Meet deadlines for orders.
• Maintain and practice a safe production environment and educate others about safety issues.
• Maintain the shop environment, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
• Operate and maintain machines/equipment.
• All other duties and tasks assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a seamstress or sewing machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
• Understand and value working as a team to accomplish goals.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 60 pounds and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour with the potential for a bi-weekly bonus.
