Significance has an immediate need for an Army Existence & Completeness (E&C) Financial Reporting Manager to support our program with Army Financial Improvement Audit Support Services.

Location: Crystal City, VA and Remote.

Job Description:

A DASA DE&C Financial Reporting and Posting Logic Manager assists in activities such as:

• Posting logic research and implementation

• Identification and documentation of roles and responsibilities between Army, DFAS, and DSCA on operational responsibilities (i.e., researching reconciliation items, posting JVs, tie point issues, accruals, etc.)

• Determine manual versus automated entries that are occurring or need to occur

• Perform reviews of posting logic to the TFM

• Research and identify abnormal balances and identify corrections

• Determine Trading Partner Eliminations

• Voucher reviews

• Review trial balance, identify and coordinate the correction of variances

• Technical skills in federal government accounting including posting logic and financial reporting

• Project management skills to monitor all tasks and follow up with client organizations as needed

• Technical skills needed to prepare status reports for the project and other client presentations as needed

• Communication skills (verbal and written)

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

• Management skills to lead a team of 3-5 team members

Required qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFM

• 6 years of experience with federal financial management, and 3 years of federal accounting experience

• Secret (Interim ok)
