We are seeking an Audit Compliance SME to join our team supporting the US Army. Work will be performed on a hybrid basis with onsite support in Tysons Corner, VA and Arlington, VA. An ideal candidate would have experience supporting FFMIA audits for the Army or other DoD agency. Duties include:

1)FFMIA compliance analyses (i.e., federal accounting standards, federal financial management systems, and USSGL), development of remediation actions related to findings within our analyses and providing related feedback to government clients and/or other project teams for items such as Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) and Provided by Client (PBC) requests. 

2) Assist with efforts to develop and implement processes, procedures, and controls to monitor the Army GF’s FFMIA compliance.

3)Perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans (CAPs) development and execution to resolve associated FFMIA NFRs and FFMIA non-compliance. 

4) Determine the compliance of existing accounting processes, federal financial management systems, and USSGL through the review of existing business processes and ERP systems. 

Required Skills

• Active Secret security clearance (interim OK)
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFM
• 6 years of experience with federal financial management, and 3 years of federal accounting experience 
• 2 years experience supporting FFMIA audits in DoD

• Project management skills to monitor all tasks and follow up with client organizations as needed
• Technical skills needed to prepare status reports for the project and other client presentations as needed
• Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
