Job Description 

Providing support for our many distributors and their technicians. Maintaining a positive relationship between those distributors and our engineers and R&D team while helping get answers to complex questions asked by their technicians. 

A successful candidate must be able to: 

● Multitask effectively as you will be handling multiple issues from multiple distributors regularly. ● Offer explanations of regular Troubleshooting procedure 

● Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, engineering, and learning & development. It is often necessary to address complex technical issues, communicate product feedback, and ensure alignment between customer needs and product capabilities. 

● Demonstrating accurate documentation of support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions is essential for tracking issues, improving processes, and providing consistent support to distributors. ● Work closely with our learning & development and documentation team by providing frequently asked questions for manual updates and gaps in training. 

A successful candidate will demonstrate: 

● Remote Support Tools: Proficiency in using remote support tools and software is crucial for diagnosing and resolving technical issues remotely. This may include screen-sharing applications, remote desktop access, or the EG4 Monitoring System. 

● Time Management: Prioritizing and managing multiple support requests efficiently is important to meet the needs of distributors and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. 

● Collaboration: The ability to collaborate with multiple departments, manufacturers, and distributors to meet the needs of our equipment users. 

● Continuous Learning: The ability to continue learning and keep up with new technologies. We are always adapting to modern technologies, and it is necessary to be able to keep up. ● Problem-Solving Abilities: Distributor Support Technicians encounter a variety of technical challenges and inquiries from distributors. They must be adept at analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions promptly. 

Qualifications: 

● 1-2 years of Technical Support Experience. 

● NABCEP PVA preferred. 

● Solar equipment knowledge. 

Physical Requirements: 

● This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities.
