SIGNATURE HARLEY DAVIDSON is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Perrysburg, OH

Plans and executes marketing, advertising, and product promotion activities, consistent with the goals and objective of the organization

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Marketing
    • Responsible for the creation and implementation of the dealership’s marketing plan; also maintains routine updates of the marketing plan.
    • Communicate marketing activities and plans with GM and management on a weekly basis.
    • Conduct market research activities and analysis and establishes data management to improve the dealership’s marketing efforts.
    • Coordinate the development and implementation of the dealership’s marketing, advertising, and public relations activities. This includes event large and small both onsite and offsite.
    • Assist HOG chapter with event planning, coordination with dealership activities and chapter meetings.
    • Manage annual marketing budgets, regularly monitors expenditures, and prepares summary assessments and report.
    • Monitor and analyze marketing promotion results to determine effectiveness of each promotion campaign.
    • Organize community events for the dealership, such as fashion shows, open house, motorcycle rides and charity events, etc.
    • Shop for supplies for all events, set-up event areas and coordinating activities.
    • Attend training sessions to keep current with marketing techniques.
  • Advertising and Promotion
    • Direct and coordinate production of advertising and promotional spot announcements, press releases, and direct mailings to customers.
    • Ensure marketing is in compliance with Motor Company policy and guidelines.
    • Maintain website including proper information on inventory, events, promotions, and department pages.
    • Post and promote dealership, motorcycle, products, and events on social media
    • Develop and coordinate departmental promotions with the dealership managers
    • Ensure all marketing and event materials in store are posted, current and look professional
    • Create, review and/or oversee media spots including newspaper, direct mailings to customers, on-hold messaging and other promotional publications.
    • Create, write, and edit promotional and informational materials, such as event poster/flyers, dealership on hold messaging, email marketing, press releases, brochures and newspaper and magazine advertisements.
    • Organize and handle donation requests, budget and fulfillment
  • Customer Service
    • Answer social media, email inquiries and reviews promptly and professionally
    • Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude and demonstrate our commitment to Make Things Right”
  • Other Duties
    • As assigned

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Ability to get along with a broad customer base
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prefer one year of experience and/or training in promotional activities and graphic design
  • Prefer knowledge and experience with marketing of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record to our insurer.
  • Bending, stooping, moving items up to 40 lbs. may be required occasionally.
