Position: Outdoor Security Officer

Compensation & Schedule:

• Position A: Friday/Saturday 12pm-8pm, $15.00/hour
• Position B: Saturday/Sunday 10pm-6am, $16.00/hour

As an Outside Security Officer, you will be a vital part of our security team, utilizing core skills in security and conflict management to maintain a safe environment for our premises. Relevant skills in CCTV and loss prevention will help in monitoring and preventing security breaches. With strong communication skills, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security and safety of the premises by conducting regular foot patrols.
• Respond promptly to any security incidents or alarms, using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
• Provide first aid assistance when needed and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary.
• Conduct thorough investigations into any security breaches or incidents.
• Maintain a high level of readiness by staying up-to-date on site-specific instructions and other relevant skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a cohesive security strategy.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to pass a background check & drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a working and functional smartphone with data to conduct reports
• Must own personal transportation or have reliable transportation to get to work
• Possess strong observational skills
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Weekends and overnights are required.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED is required

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
